Earth Day at the market

April 18, 2011 by Friends of Salem Saturday Market

Join us at our booth this Saturday, April 23, as we celebrate Earth Day with a free children’s event to get you ready for starting your spring garden.

From 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., instructor Diane Huber will lead children in planting pea and pumpkin starts in compostable pots that they can take home. Participants will also read “Growing Vegetable Soup.”

We hope to see you at the market this weekend!
