Pringle Creek Community is now accepting applicants for the Urban Farmer Certification Class for 2012. This is a great opportunity for anyone curious about learning to garden in the urban setting.
Urban Farmer Certification 2012
Urban Farmer Certification is an opportunity to learn how to grow your own food in an urban setting. Classes are taught by real farmers and OSU Master Gardeners, and include both classroom discussion and experiential learning in the field. Students are expected to demonstrate skills in their own garden setting in order to obtain certification.
Schedule: Ten classes (once per month) between January and October 2012, on the 2nd Saturday of each month. 10am –Noon.
Cost: $60 per person, 20% discount for FSSM members and couples. Scholarships available.
