Friends of Salem Saturday Market is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization made up of a dedicated group of individuals who are passionate about local farmers’ markets and want to increase awareness of the wide range and benefits of using locally produced products.

MISSION

The Friends of Salem Saturday Market encourages community support of local, sustainable agriculture; educates the public about healthy, locally produced food and goods; and enhances the creative, social and community aspects of the Salem Saturday Market.

LOCAL MARKETS

Salem Saturday Market
Open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays from April through October. Located in Salem at the corner of Summer and Marion streets downtown.

Wednesday Market
Open Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. from May through October. Located on Chemeketa Street between Liberty and High streets.

Salem Hospital Market
Open to the public from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Monday from June through September. Located at Salem Hospital.

Holiday Market
On Dec. 11 and 12, the Salem Saturday Market moves indoors to the Americraft Building at the Oregon State Fairgrounds and expands to include a vast number of craft vendors. Voted Best Holiday Market in the Mid-Willamette Valley, the Holiday Market is home to Salem’s most unique holiday shopping experience and free admission to all.
