New for 2011: Join and pay online through PayPal

MEMBERSHIP

Your annual membership dues help us to provide events, classes, services and entertainment at Salem Saturday Market and beyond. The bike valet parking, canning, preservation, bike commuting and many other educational classes at the market are made possible through the support of our members.

We offer four membership levels:

$10 – MARKET FRIEND

$25 – MARKET ADVOCATE

$50 – MARKET SUPPORTER

$75+ – MARKET SUSTAINER

Benefits of membership:

Exclusive farm tours: Members are invited to participate in our free tours of local producers. Past tours have included Minto Island Growers, Ankeny Lakes Wild Rice, Fairview Farms goat dairy and Persephone Farm, among others. We already have many new exciting tours in the works for 2011.

Discounts to local businesses – new for 2011: When you join or renew your membership, you will receive coupons to local businesses that support sustainable living and FSSM.

Gifts for new members: If this is your first FSSM membership, you can stop by our booth at the market to pick up free gifts.

Support for local farmers and artisans: By becoming a member, you will help spread community support for local and sustainable agriculture by contributing to FSSM’s outreach programs.

HOW TO JOIN

There are three ways to become a member:

1. Sign up and pay with a credit card online through PayPal (you do not need a PayPal account to use this service).

2. Fill out our FSSM 2011 Membership Form and mail it to the address on the form along with a check made out to Friends of Salem Saturday Market.

3. Sign up in person at our booth on the south side of Salem Saturday Market. To find out which Saturdays we’ll be there, check our Events page.

All donations to FSSM are tax-deductible under our 501(c)(3c) corporation name, “Sustainable Salem.”
